What is this page?

This is an ever-evolving page where I will be scoring Ubuntu 8.04 vs Mac OS X Leopard. As I experiment with the plausibility of replacing my standard os, the Mac OS, with Linux I am judging how well Ubuntu Linux can replace the Mac OS at daily tasks.

What are these graphs?

These graphs are score-cards. Ubuntu appears in blue. Mac OS appears in green. In each distinct row the more one color dominates the other the more I favor that operating system for that task.
